　　1.中文：瓊斯先生住在皇后街十號(hào)。

　　（誤）Mr. Jones lives on 10 Queen Street.

　?。ㄕ㎝r. Jones lives at 10 Queen Street.（at＋門(mén)牌號(hào)，on＋街道名稱；
兩者同時(shí)出現(xiàn)以門(mén)牌號(hào)碼為準(zhǔn)。）

　　2.中文：他喜歡在太陽(yáng)下坐著。

　?。ㄕ`）He likes to sit under the sun.

　?。ㄕ〩e likes to sit in the sun.（在太陽(yáng)下用介詞in.）

　　3.中文：面包是由麥子制成的。

　　（誤）Bread is made of wheat.

　?。ㄕ〣read is made from wheat.（由…制成，of用于成品保持原有性質(zhì)；
from用于成品不再保持原有性質(zhì)。）

　　4.中文：每個(gè)人都知道他。

　?。ㄕ`）He is known by everyone.

　　（正）He is known to everyone.（be known to是習(xí)慣用法，表示為…所熟知。）

　　5.中文：我們有麻煩。

　?。ㄕ`）We are with trouble.

　　（正）We are in trouble.（有麻煩用in trouble.）

　　6.中文：他將于七月五日去美國(guó)。

　?。ㄕ`）He will go to America in July 5.

　?。ㄕ〩e will go to America on July 5.（on與某一天連用。）

　　7.中文：他將于七月五日去美國(guó)。

　?。ㄕ`）He left home in the morning of 11th.

　　（正）He left home on the morning of 11th.（morning和某日連用時(shí)用on.）

　　8.中文：他將于七月五日去美國(guó)。

　?。ㄕ`）He was angry with what I said.

　?。ㄕ〩e was angry at what I said.（表示因某事生氣介詞用at或about，對(duì)某人生氣用with.）

　　9.中文：他藏在一棵樹(shù)后。

　　（誤）He hid himself after a tree.

　?。ㄕ〩e hid himself behind a tree.（after表順序，behind表位置。）

　　10.中文：在老師的幫助下你會(huì)通過(guò)考試。

　?。ㄕ`）You may pass the exam under the help of the teacher.

　　（正）You may pass the exam with the help of the teacher.（在某人的幫助下用with.）

　　11.中文：我父親對(duì)我說(shuō)玩火危險(xiǎn)。

　　（誤）My father said to me that it was dangerous to play fire.

　?。ㄕ㎝y father said to me that it was dangerous to play with fire.（play后接運(yùn)動(dòng)，球類比賽時(shí)是及物動(dòng)詞；
后接玩的東西時(shí)是不及物動(dòng)詞，與with連用。）
